Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and independently execute photo and video shoots—brand videos, product photography and videos, social media reels, lifestyle shoots, testimonials and branch videos—across indoor and outdoor locations.
- Read scripts, briefs and storyboards to visualise scenes, shot composition, framing and storyline, and translate them into a practical, shootable plan.
- Set up and operate professional cameras, lenses and supporting equipment; select and configure gear appropriately for each shoot’s requirements.
- Manage camera settings, exposure, composition, colour, white balance, framing and studio/location lighting, adapting to different shoot conditions.
- Travel to HNS Gold branch locations across India—including Guwahati, Kolkata, Punjab and other cities—for on-location shoots as required.
- Coordinate closely with the graphic design, video editing and marketing teams through pre-production, the shoot itself and final handover, staying aligned on brief, timelines and deliverables.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggestions for videos and photos, and stay current with social media video formats, trends and visual styles.
- Manage shoot logistics—equipment checklists, lighting setup, crew coordination and shot lists—to ensure engaging, platform-ready output.
- Hand over raw footage and photo files following the approved folder and naming structure; apply basic edits or colour grading where required.
- Work within agreed timelines, manage multiple shoot briefs and incorporate feedback from creative and marketing teams.
Candidate Requirements
MANDATORY
- 3+ years of relevant experience in professional photography and videography, preferably with brands, agencies or digital content teams.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of professional cameras, lenses and camera equipment, with the ability to confidently operate and set up equipment for different types of shoots.
- Experience producing brand videos, product photography, product videos, social media reels, lifestyle shoots and other digital content formats, across indoor and outdoor locations.
- Basic understanding of camera settings, exposure, composition, colour, white balance, framing and studio lighting, with the ability to adapt these based on shoot requirements.
- Ability to read a script or brief and visualise how scenes, shots and the overall storyline will come together ahead of the shoot.
- Ability to plan and execute shoots independently, including setting up equipment, managing lighting, framing shots and ensuring good-quality photo and video output.
- Good understanding of current social media video formats, trends and visual styles, with the ability to capture engaging, platform-friendly content.
- Comfortable travelling to different shoot locations as required, including Guwahati, Kolkata, Punjab and other branches across India.
- Ability to work within timelines, collaborate with creative and marketing team members, contribute ideas and incorporate feedback to deliver the required output.
PREFERRED
- Knowledge of basic video editing, colour grading or post-production will be an added advantage.
- Degree, diploma or certification in Photography, Film, Visual Communication or Multimedia.
- Experience in Jewellery, Retail, BFSI, NBFC, Fintech or another trust-led customer-service category.
- Experience shooting content adapted for multiple Indian regions, cultures and languages.
